Ulladulla Fire & Rescue, Ulladulla Police crews and local area Rural Fire Service (RFS) crews from Milton, Conjola and Lake Tabourie responded to calls regarding a bushfire around 3:45pm.
An unknown caused sparked the fire in the bushland between Canberra Cresent, Commonwealth Avenue and the Princes Highway.
The Conjola RFS crew said a “rather large patch in the middle” was alight, although it was put out quickly.
“It’s always better to have everyone respond,” crewman Alan Cooke said.
“When it’s right in town like this you want everyone there.”
