Two of Ulladulla’s foremost mental health support organisations joined forces to host the “Make a Noise” community event to raise awareness of mental health and local services and support.
The event, arranged by RichmondPRA and Schizophrenia Fellowship (which runs the local Sunflower House living program), focused on promoting positive mental health and social and emotional wellbeing and also reducing stigma around mental illness.
There were three hours of festivities including music, poetry, songs, personal stories and interactive activities such as tie dyeing, drumming, art and craft, belly dancing, information displays and food stalls.
