Thank you Vicki and Spiro for again providing the awesome entertainer Jacii, on the day of the club’s barbecue.
The music topped off a great afternoon and even the weather turned it on for club members.
Congratulations Hemi on the biggest fish again, well done mate on the 1.930 kilogram salmon caught RBE, and a triple pointer at that.
There was a good variety weighed in with morwong, flathead, nannygai and another triple pointer - Lynne’s 1.63 kilogram snapper, caught off Wildthing.
Well done to all who got points on the board.
The fishing week this month started on Monday, October 20 and runs to this Sunday, October 26, which is also the club’s weigh-in and barbecue.
Fish of the month offshore is leather jacket and rock, beach, estuary is drummer.
Warmer weather and calmer waters have been ideal conditions for anglers and this is just the beginning of spring.
The club looks forward to an even heftier weigh-in on October 26, with a great crowd of proud fisherman.
Keep in mind the new size and bag limits apply from November 3.
Have fun all, with safe times and tight lines.
ROUND four of the saltwater competition was held on October 11 and 12, with Saturday being utopia.
