The Solomon family have managed to keep all their employees in a job and will offer the same services as before except petrol.
They will remain at 54 Deering Street, Ulladulla for at least the next 12 months.
“Our Milton building was old, so there will be environmental issues,” Kerrie said.
“The police do not need to have a report filed until December.
The Milton Tyre Service crew have been working around the clock to get the new space ready for business.
“We are so impressed with the town,” Kerrie said.
“We have had so many donations of old cupboards and cabinets.
“The town cares,” she said.
Four local builders offered their services to assist the business with building their new office, however for fear of taking them out of their own businesses, the offers were declined.
Instead, a family friend Jim Birdfield Holmes came in and helped out.
“We have just been kept so busy, our minds were off what happened,” Kerrie said.
“All that is in the past.”
The Milton Tyre Service have taken a 12 month lease on their new building, however hope to be back in Milton next year.
