It’s the Olympics of the robotics world and House of Ulladulla has taken their rightful spot on the podium.
FRC Team 6035, House of Ulladulla has won the Highest Rank Rookie Team at the First International Robotics Competition in St Louis, USA.
The team received the award after holding 13th place in their divisions out of 150 teams.
They also proved they’re the nation's best after placing the highest of all the Australian teams in competition.
Team member Jackson Matheson said the win was hard fought.
“All our hard work, time and incredible determination have enabled us to be the top ranked rookie team in the combined division, a better result than any of us thought possible,” he said.
“We unfortunately didn't get selected in the eliminations but have thoroughly enjoyed our experience and gained and grown so much from it.”
On behalf of the team, Jackson thanked the community for their support and assistance in getting the team the competition.
“Thankyou to our amazing community for supporting us to get here and have this life changing experience.
