Weather permitting, the pest eradication will start in mid-July after the school holidays and run for about two weeks, said Shoalhaven Works and Services Manager Tony Fraser.
Community groups will be advised at each location before the program starts.
Council has also been awaiting information on the new K5 Korean strain of calicivirus.
Two Parks and Reserves staff members attended a recent State Government Local Land Services seminar and heard that Shoalhaven will not get access to K5 until next year at the earliest.
