Rogue pony spotted at Pigeon House

The pony was spotted by a couple who had been out to the mountain and were on their way back.

It was trotting down the middle of the road approximately two kilometres from the carpark. 

“I felt quite sorry for it- it seemed a long way from home,” Peter Sim who stopped for the animal said. 

Peter said they were a long way from the nearest properties.

It was small, black and brown, had a shaggy coat and a long mane.
