A sparkling Royal Mantle Drive Christmas light display is not only brightening up Ulladulla, but brightening up children at Heart Kids.
Heart Kids is a national organisation, supporting families with children with heart conditions such as the Carriage family at 6 Royal Mantle Drive.
Four year old Kadence Carriage, daughter of Mark and Karli was diagnosed with an aortic arch blockage in February, 2016.
“We went to have her tonsils out and we could not lower the blood pressure,” Karli Carriage said.
“She had an operation a couple of months ago, and is now completely healthy, ready to start kindergarten next year.”
Meeting Heart Kids Australia at Westmead Hospital Sydney was a blessing for the Carriage family.
“They help out financially, but importantly also help emotionally,” she said.
“They are all Heart Mums, so they are able to support through their own experiences.”
After having a spectacular Christmas light display each year, we thought we could help Heart Kids with all the people that come past.
“All the money will go to Heart Kids, even if we just raise $50 we know every little bit helps.”
