After a strong victory against Nowra-Bomaderry in round one and committed loss, which showed plenty of heart, against Shellharbour, Morrison is optimistic about his team’s chances moving forward.
“There’s a lot of positives to take from our first two games but it’s important that we continue to build on them this week at Jamberoo,” Morrison said.
Prior to first grade at 2.45pm, both the women’s league tag and reserve grade sides will also take the field on Saturday at Kevin Walsh Oval.
The 2-0 WLT side will look for revenge against the last year’s champions Jamberoo from 12.15pm, before reserve grade kick-off at 1.15pm.
The under 18s will look to build on their strong win in round two, when they head to Centenary Field on Sunday to play the Albion Park-Oak Flats Eagles from 11.45am.
