Division one was won by current world champion Brett Greenwood by a boat length from Stew O’Regan. Makai Paddlers Dion Carter & Sampson Hollywood were the first doubles team to complete the 20km first division.
In second division the Makai team of Brendan Cowled and John Dick were the first doubles team. Division 7 was won by Makai’s Brodie Cambourne in a personal best time. Makai OC-1 paddler, Greg Sutcliffe performed well in Division 11 - his first Marathon paddle.
The day was rounded out by Makai Paddlers hosting a race dinner for the 150 out-of-town paddlers. The day was a great celebration of Marathon Paddling and it’s easy to see why coming to the Shoalhaven is the most popular event on the state’s Paddling calendar.
