Burrill Lake’s western waterway was open to the community for the first time in 130 years on Tuesday with NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian in town to mark the occaision.

Ms Berejiklian said the $58 million bridge is a key South Coast transport corridor that ensures both the Princes Highway and waterway are able to meet the community’s needs into the future.
A plaque from the old causeway was presented by South Coast MP Shelley Hancock to the Milton Ulladulla Historical Society.
