The group toasted Mollymook man and support group treasurer Andrew Winters, who was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Mr Winters was recognised for his devotion to surf life saving clubs in Mollymook and Bondi and his contribution to the Clovelly Bendigo Community Bank branch as a director.
The group meets every third Wednesday of the month at the Uniting Church Hall in Ulladulla and wanted to celebrate the achievement of Mr Winters.
The support group also acknowledged the generosity of the Ulladulla Uniting Church, who donated $556 from their latest monthly fundraiser morning tea.
Aside from the festive high tea, members also participated in a 30-minute singing session with Tina Broad and heard a presentation from a speech pathologist.
