The Sydney band, formed by brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach, have gained notice over the past few months with their single Dirt Cheap released on triple J Unearthed.
Since 2012 the brothers have released three EPs, before their debut album Permanent Vacation was released in 2017, which topped the AIR Australian Independent albums chart.
Their music includes catchy, poppy, grovy tunes through to laid-back, beachy vibes, sure to excite a South Coast crowd.
Their new single has paved the way for a 25-top national ‘Dirt Cheap’ tour, including a visit to the Marlin Hotel on December 21.
“We don’t like being home for too long, so we’re adding as many rural and coastal stops as we can. Tours are holidays for us, really. We like to hang around until we’re on a first name basis with the old blokes at your local,” Oli Leimbach said.
Tickets to the Marlin Hotel show are $23.50 including booking fee. The show includes support acts ILUKA and Georgia June. Doors open at 8pm.
