The Dockers named a full squad at training the Thursday night and had to make omissions for players who did not train or injury.
The Tigers were getting a name for themselves in 2019 as not the usual "easy beats" of the previous years.
They have worked hard to recruit a lot of new players and from all reports were the team to beat this year.
Unlike the first two games were the Dockers took control from the get go!
This was going to be a hard contest with some Dockers players not being able to make the start of the game.
The Dockers young guns form their 17's team last year had to stand up and be accountable and that is what they did!
No doubt the inclusion of the Dockers young guns haver made a huge difference to the team and the clubs future.
The Tigers scored quickly, exposing the Dockers lack of experience around the ground and with every contest being hard the Tigers scored a quick 4 goals on the local boys.
With the arrival of Smithy, the Dockers suddenly had speed around the half forward line and scored several times to reply.
Going into the quarter break the Tigers were 2 goals ahead until Jimmy H stamped his trademark tackles on the Tigers smashing them time and time again.
Harrison and Thomo were taking care of the middle, Nick was handling the wing, Tyler across the half backs and Adam who must have put grippo on his jumper was holding marks and kicking goals.
Supported by all the young guns, the Dockers very staple meat and three vege's players slowly took control of the game.
The local boys played hard and when the Tigers stepped it up a bit, the Dockers stepped it up a whole lot more.
Final scores Ulladulla 9-8-62 to Nth Tigers 7-1-43.
A big thankyou to Tim Forrester and Kaleb Gleeson's dad for their support on the day.
Next week the Dockers are at home with both the girls and the boys so come down and support the local boys in their journey of what should be a great season.
The ladies are on at 11.30am against the Nowra Albatross Vikings.
The men start at 1pm against the Shellharbour Suns.
