The Seagulls third straight win and sixth in seven matches, with a draw thrown in there for good measure, was set up by goals from Michael Hampton (10th minute), Lachlan Ford (20th), Corey Ryan (64th), Jim Niemeier (74th), an own goal from Robert Barrett (86th) and Cain Mooy (87th).
In the loss at the Huskisson Sporting Field, Billy Zappas (15th) and Barrett (90th) scored for the Wanderers.
The four-goal victory moves the Seagulls onto 19 points, two clear of second placed Illaroo, who had the bye in round eight.
Sitting in third are Bomaderry (16 points), who defeated Shoalhaven United 4-2 at Lyrebird Park, thanks to a brace from goal machine Brendan Kellett - who's found the back of the net 12 times already this season.
Dale Russell and Tom Moffatt also scored for Kevin Jackson's side in the win, while Alex Rogan and Taite Arney were on target for Alex Dicker's Bears.
Also sitting on 16 points are the Culburra Cougars, who used two goals from Mitch Blundell to defeat the Milton-Ulladulla Panthers 2-nil at Ison Park.
The third and final team on 16 points is St Georges Basin.
After opening the season with four straight wins, the Dragons' wheels have fallen off recently, thanks to two losses and a draw through the past three games.
This includes an upset loss to the Sussex Seahawks 3-1 at the Thompson Street Sporting Complex on Saturday.
The Seahawks' second win of the season was secured by goals to Ben Kelly (33rd minute), Lachlan Mellier (own goal in the 47th minute) and Mathew Pepper (72nd), with Connor Macqueen scoring for the visitors in the first minute of the second half.
The final game of the weekend saw Callala thump Shoalhaven Heads-Berry 5-1 at Emmett Street Oval.
Once again the star for the Brumbies was Tom White, who added another three goals to his season tally of 10.
Others to find the back of the net for the hosts were Ethan Healy and William Patterson, as Tyler Simmonds scored the lone goal for the Sharks.
Looking ahead, the June long weekend will see two rounds of action played, with games on both Saturday and Monday afternoons.
On Saturday, Bomaderry host Milton-Ulladulla, Culburra take on Illaroo, Manyana battle Callala, St Georges Basin clash with United and Shoalhaven Heads-Berry lock horns with Sussex - as leaders Huskisson-Vincentia have the bye.
Then on Monday, the Seagulls travel to Callala, the Panthers entertain the Dragons, United and Heads play at Lyrebird Park, Illaroo host Bomaderry and Sussex jostle with Manyana, with the Cougars enjoying the day off.
