The match officials were kept busy during this Shoalhaven Football Association encounter at Bomaderry Oval as six players received yellow cards.
Five Cougar players received cards and one Bomaderry player got carded.
The Tigers ended up winning the match 3-2 in front of a vocal home crowd.
The score at the break was 2-all and thanks to a Dale Russell goal, in the second term, Bomaderry got the competition points.
Ben Seyffer and Jordan Haddow also booted goals for the Tigers.
Tom Matthews and Jack Miller found the back of the net for the Cougars.
Meanwhile, Huskisson Vincentia cemented its spot on top of the ladder by beating the Sussex Seahawks 7-2 at the Huskisson Sporting Complex.
The home side wanted to make a statement in the first half and with a five-goal to one blitz had pretty much wrapped the match-up by halftime.
Credit goes to the Seahawks for showing a lot of fighting spirit and they held Husky to two goals in the second half and managed to get one themselves.
Corey Ryan (two) Lewis Archibald, Braidon Campbell Gary Masterson and David Hampton kicked goals for Husky, while another point was an own goal.
Simon Reid and Mitchell Negus scored for Sussex.
Milton Ulladulla and Shoalhaven Heads Berry, when fulltime was called at Lighthouse Oval, both had to settle for a draw.
The score was 1-all at fulltime and both teams played strongly.
Brent Anderson scored for the home side and Christopher Agar kicked the visitor's goal.
Brendan Thorpe had an interesting game for Illaroo against St Georges Basin at the St Georges Basin Sporting Complex.
Thorpe, at the 23rd minute, kicked what would be the only goal of the match and he also received the only yellow card during the contest.
The win sees Illaroo sit on third spot on the ladder with 23 points, while the Basin, 19 points, is fifth.
Callala had the bye and we don't have any results from the Manyana and Shoalhaven United match.
