The most difficult thing for the 12-year-old will be deciding which sport it is, after her recent success in athletics, cross country and gymnastics.
The first two, she been competing in for more than five years but gymnastics was a different story.
"I only started gymnastics at the start of term one this year officially, although I could already do backflips and handsprings," D'Ombrain said.
The fact that she's only been training for the sport for close to six months, makes her recent results in gymnastics even more impressive.
"I first competed in the local competition at Nowra and the regionals schools competition, also held at Nowra, where I placed third in vault and fourth overall," she said.
"Here I competed in a range of disciplines for the overall competition, including floor, bars, beam and vault."
From here, the Ulladulla High School student qualified for the state title at Newcastle.
"I was stoked to get second in vault, fourth on the beam and did well in floor and bars, coming sixth overall - resulting in a state silver medal," she said.
"My South Coast team also won the teams award."
Not to be outdone, last month, D'Ombrian competed at the regional athletics titles at Canberra - after starring at both the school and district carnivals.
"To get race ready and run on a different track, I went to Canberra to compete," she said.
"I came first in the 3kms in the first round of the Athletics ACT senior winter series and second at the ACT Cross Country Championships."
Both these acted as springboards for my school carnival, where I qualified in my favourite event, the under 14s 3000m.
"At regionals, despite only having five minutes to rest after my victory, I came fifth in the 800m, which I was still happy with."
The final event of the day for D'Ombrain was her 1500m.
"I was exhausted by this time of day - my heels were very painful and aching from running on the hard track," she said.
"I didn't want to drop out though, as someone else missed out on getting this opportunity, so I just ran and did the best I could.
"I came sixth and was happy with my run."
But the biggest event on the calendar of D'Ombrain, who regularly runs with siblings Blake and Maddison, is still to come - the nationals cross country titles at Kembla Grange on August 24.
"To qualify for nationals, I had to perform at the school carnival, which was followed by zone, regional and then state at Eastern Creek," she said.
"It was after these events that I was named in the Athletics NSW under 14s team for nationals."
To prepare her for this month's event, D'Ombrain has competed at events at Sydney and Canberra.
"This is my first time competing at this level, so I don't really know what to expect," she said.
"I'm feeling fit and strong, so I'll just do my best and enjoy the opportunity.
"Despite me being always one of the youngest in my group, I don't let it be an obstacle for me.
"I'm tiny compared to the other kids in my age group but I use it to my advantage though, as it makes me light on my feet and zippy."
