A downpour brought almost half-an-inch of rain to Ulladulla from 3.30pm to 5pm. Gentler falls over the evening took the overall total to 22.8mm recorded at Ulladulla's Area Weather Station over 24 hours to 9am on Monday.
It was the first falls of more than 10mm since October 4 in Ulladulla. Ulladulla's October monthly total was well under the average of 81mm with just 32.8mm received. The average for November is 85.1mm.
Kiama received about 10mm on Sunday while Nowra's Ran Air Station recorded just five millimetres to 9am on Monday.
Better falls were recorded at Point Perpendicular with almost 12mm tallied.
According to Weatherzone there is a high change of showers in southern parts of the South Coast district on Monday. There is also a chance of a thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening.
A top temperature of 20 degrees is forecast for Mollymook while it is expected to reach 23 in Nowra.
The Rural Fire Service advises residents of a low-moderate fire danger on Monday.
