Mollymook's latest centenarian was treated to a 'hot lap' from the south to the north to celebrate his 100th birthday on Monday, November 18.
Gear Steward Les O'Sullivan took a call from Klaus' granddaughter Sarah and the club was more than happy to assist, he said.
"It's not very often you turn 100."
Family members Marianne, Kristiane, Barry, Sarah, Natalie, Don, Oli, Henry, Lucas and Annabel all surprised Klaus with his surprise lap.
They quickly decorated the vehicle with some birthday balloons, before Klaus was joined by his granddaughters for the ride.
The surprise lap was one of a few birthday presents he received over the past two days.
On Sunday, Klaus and some family members reclined by the infinity pool at Bannisters and, before the beach drive, Klaus was spoiled with an "industrial-sized" bowl of his favourite breakfast meal - porridge.
He has also opened letters from the Queen, Prime Minister Scott Morrison and governor-general David Hurley.
Now the family is gearing up for a big birthday party at the Dunn Lewis Centre on December 7 - the same venue where he celebrated his 95th.
Klaus will also join his Ulladulla Men's Shed mates for morning tea on Tuesday.
