As of Tuesday, December 24 at 2pm the fire was "being controlled" and was at advice level.
The fire had burnt out over 2251 hectares.
Throughout Tuesday air crews were still active fighting the fire, collecting water from the mouth of the Shoalhaven River near Shoalhaven Heads, Greenwell Point and Orient Point.

So far this fire season 873 homes have been destroyed and over 15,400 buildings saved.
Approximately 100 homes are believed lost since last Thursday. But these are still being assessed due to limited access to some areas
Across NSW there are over 2,000 firefighters are out in the field today hoping to make the most of more favourable weather conditions across Tuesday.
