Coinciding with the return of school, the first term tennis schedule begins for the year this week. For the Juniors the Saturday Morning Junior Competition resumes on February 1 along with Saturday Morning Hotshots whilst the regular coaching and training sessions begin with the first day of school.

If things are a bit tight financially at the moment don't forget that fees and costs of coaching and memberships can be covered with the Active Kids Vouchers.
For those who don't know Active Kids is a NSW Government initiative to help families get their kids enrolled in sports and physical recreation. From January 1, each child enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 is eligible for the first of 2 x $100 Active Kids Vouchers, with the intention to cover coaching and competition fees in different terms.
Voucher #1 can be used throughout the calendar year. Voucher #2 can be used between July 1 and December 31.
The 2 x $100 vouchers can be redeemed with the club or coach. To apply for and redeem your voucher there are four simple steps:
1. Visit sport.nsw.gov.au/activekids. Read the Guidelines and Fact Sheets to learn about the program.
2. Visit service.nsw.gov.au and create or login to your MyServiceNSW Account.
3. Complete an Active Kids application through your MyServiceNSW Account. You will receive a voucher with a unique ID number for each child you register (available to download, print and email).
4. Redeem your voucher
Take your child's voucher to a registered activity provider; or log onto your provider's website to enrol and enter the voucher ID number.

After our summer break the Monday Ladies Day Comp starts on February 3. This comp we have 7 teams in both divisions. The list of teams are as follows:
