Following the devastating bushfires that hit Conjola Park over summer, the community has identified a series of improvements at Conjola Park, Lake Conjola. The community also hopes to connect the two localities together, as well as north to Fisherman's Paradise and south to Narrawallee Beach.
Following a series of on-site discussions with various community members including discussions with the Conjola Recovery Association (CCRA), TAKT Studio for Architecture were engaged by the CCRA and have developed a concept plan for Conjola Park that identifies improvements including shared paths, playground, adventure play, pump track, community building, jetty, pontoon, basketball half court and more.
The 23 September webinar will enable Brent Dunn and Katharina Hendel from TAKT Studio for Architecture to present the Conjola Connected Communities Masterplan and Yooralla Bay Concept Plan and to respond to questions.
The concept plan for Yooralla Bay (Conjola Park) including Hoylake Park is part of a larger plan for the area - Conjola Connected Community Masterplan.
The Milton Ulladulla Times previously spoke with members of the community group behind the plan.
The plan also includes a memorial for the people who died during the summer's bushfire crisis.

As well as assisting with community consultation and exhibition of the draft Masterplan and Concept Plan, including reporting to Council to post-exhibition, Council will undertake required investigations, studies and help facilitate the delivery of the works.
