To mark the start of the school holidays a cold front accompanied by rain is forecast for Friday and Saturday in the Shoalhaven and parts of NSW.

On September 25, the Bureau of Meteorology issued a warning to sheep graziers that cold temperatures, rain and showers and westerly winds are expected.
There is also a marine wind warning for Friday and Saturday along the Illawarra Coast and Batemans Coast.

In Nowra the Bureau of Meteorology in forecasting a shower or two on Friday with a high of 21 degrees and a low of 8. For Saturday it will be a low of 8 and a top of 16 with westerly winds up to 55km/h.
For Ulladulla the Bureau is expecting a high likelyhood of showers and the chance of a thunderstorm on Friday with a high of 20 degrees and a low of 9. For Saturday it will be a low of 9 and a top of 17 with a slight change of shower in the afternoon and winds up to 55km/h.
Although it may not be beach-weather, South Coast Life Saving begin their regular patrols on Saturday and will be taking extra precautions due to COVID.
