Club Captain,Adam Woodward, said the club was back to full patrols on the beach, adding people should swim between the flags ensuring safe swimming for all your family.
Patrol times at South Mollymook are 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
"We will always operate according to instructions from Surf Lifesaving NSW and NSW Health Orders always considering the safety of our dedicated volunteer lifesavers and the people on the beach," Adam said
"The main thing for beachgoers to keep in mind is social-distancing, make sure you leave plenty of space for others."
Adam went on to stress the importance of swimming between the red and yellow flags where lifesavers can protect people and ensure safe swimming.
"When we hear of a tragic, unnecessary drowning at a nearby beach causing huge family distress it affects every member of our club with sadness and frustration knowing if the victim was between the red and yellow flags they would still be alive and happy," Adam said.
"We look forward to seeing you on the beach, come up and have a chat."
