Intrepid Shoalhaven photographer Matt Jeffrey has been out at it again capturing some of the local thunderstorms as they rolled across the region.
And the results are stunning.
On Thursday afternoon Matt headed to the Jerrawangala National Park, just north of Jerrawangala Lookout, and captured some stunning shots of storm clouds forming overlook Lake Conjola.
He then headed into Nowra to local naval base HMAS Albatross where he captured the action as the thunderstorm and light show rolled its way towards and across the base's air strip.
His photos capture the power of the oncoming storm, and the ferocity of the lightning, coupled with the ongoing lights around the Albatross base and its buildings and flightlines.
For you photograph buffs out there, Matt was using a Nikon D750 with a 24-70mm lens. He used various ISO, ranging from 20 up to 250, and aperture from from 7.1 up to 16 and exposure times ranging from four to five seconds.
Have you taken any cool photos of the storms, we'd love to see them, just email your photos and a few details, like where you took the photo to firstname.lastname@example.org.
