A man has been arrested in bushland, north of Batemans Bay, following a police pursuit in the Shoalhaven area on Tuesday, October 26.

At about 11.10am, South Coast Police District officers were patrolling the highway at Berry when they engaged in a pursuit of a white vehicle after it allegedly failed to stop.
"The car continued south on the highway and officers deployed road spikes just north of Tomboye Road, East Lynne," a police spokesperson said.
"The vehicle came to a stop soon after, before the driver allegedly fled on foot.
"PolAir and the Dog Squad were called into assist with the search."
The spokesperson said the man was located several hundred metres from the vehicle, in scrub west of the Princes Highway, just after 2pm.
The man will be taken to Batemans Bay Police Station, where charges are expected to be laid.
