Men still need encouragement to talk more about their mental health, according to a Milton-based doctor.

As we head into the middle of men's health month what Dr Steven Craig said at a recent meeting was timely.
He was the guest speaker at the Milton/Ulladulla Men's Health and Cancer Support Group meeting.
Group convener, Peter Still, invited Dr Craig to the meeting.
"He [Dr Craig] said men don't mind taking a fecal sample but they don't want to take a screen for their mental health," Peter said.
"Dr Craig said men need to screen for their mental health because when you have an illness of some sort it really does affect your mental health.
"They [men] are quite happy to dip into the toilet and take a poo sample but don't want to dip into their minds and take a mental health sample."
Peter suggests men should take the Beyond Blue online test.
Meanwhile, the group meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Milton/Ulladulla Bowling Club in St Vincent Street from 6pm.

People also find out about the group thanks to "word of month".
A person, for example, may find out that a friend is struggling with a health-related matter and then suggest they attend a meeting.
The group has been operating for three years.
Men of all ages can attend the meetings and their partners can also attend.
"Everyone is welcome to attend," Peter said.
Meetings are very informal and friendly - with the aim of pointing people in the right direction when it comes to getting support.
The group's last meeting for the year will be on Tuesday December 14 which will also be their Christmas function.
