He was once homeless and could not see a way out of his situation. It was a dark time, he said, during which he felt the pain life had inflicted on him had become too much.

Daniel is now the Bomaderry based Salt Ministries' Temporary Accommodation manager and he helps people to access their yearly 28 days of temporary accommodation.
While they are in temporary accommodation, Daniel supports them, and together they work on ways to achieve more permanent housing.
When we spoke to Daniel it was on one of the many recent wet and terrible days.
He spoke about how homeless people, even when the rain is pouring down, have to take shelter in parks around the South Coast because there is simply nowhere else for them to go.
"It hurts," Daniel said, of knowing that people have to be sent back out onto the streets.
"I have been in that situation and some people just can't see a way out," he said.
Daniel is now happy with his life - a feeling he wants the many homeless and desperate people living on the South Coast to experience.
