The Albatross Musical Theatre Company (AMTC) have secured more than $3000 in Club grant funding to purchase wireless headsets and spare batteries for communication.
The donation was fulfilled through the Shoalhaven Ex-Services Group with the headsets to aid in the smooth running of rehearsals.
CEO of the Ex-Services Group Bernie Brown was a welcome visitor to the AMTC JAM junior program recently to check out the upgrades.
"We applied for the Grant in the Disabilities category, as we have a young man who began volunteering with us in 2021," AMTC secretary Julie Fraser said.
"Tylor Shorter is vision impaired and joined AMTC's technical crew helping with our junior production of Alice in Wonderland.

He quickly became an integral and valued part of the team, assisting with setting up sound equipment and other tasks during rehearsals and our production."
Ms Fraser said the grant meant the group could purchase the headsets and make communication easier for the technical team.
"Our technical team are often spread across the venue and visual signals nor shouting to each other are appropriate during rehearsal," she said.
"These headsets allow the crew to talk to each other while other things are going on."
She said Tylor had been pivotal in operating the music tracks used during rehearsal and productions and wireless communication allowed the stage manager to give specific directions to team members without interfering with anything on stage.
Ms Fraser said it was great to have Mr Brown along during one of the JAM rehearsals where the group has more than 50 children aged between 10 and 15 who are gearing up for a musical called Honk! Jr in the September school holidays.
"The ClubGRANTS program exists to support local community organisations and we receive hundreds of applications every year. We are pleased to help supply the equipment which will help Tylor get on with the important role he plays in the technical team," Mr Brown said.
ClubGRANTS is one of Australia's largest grants programs, providing more than $100 million each year to charities, sporting organisations and not-for-profit community groups.
Applications are currently open for the Shoalhaven LGA at www.clubgrants.com.au.
