Joel Turner is hoping the streets of Milton will turn into a sea of yellow on Friday as people show their support for Daffodil Day.
The property manager is encouraging people to buy merchandise to support the Cancer Council, a cause close to his heart.
Mr Turner said cancer had struck his family, which was why be felt compelled to do all he could for the cause.
“I have a family history of cancer, which is part of my drive to raise awareness,” he said.
“Cancer is a terrible disease and one that we are all striving to find a cure for.”
This will be the third Daffodil Day for Bella Coastal Property employee Mr Turner, who will this year join forces with Milton IGA.
Merchandise can be purchased at the stall outside Milton IGA, on the Princes Highway.
