Practice manager Maria O’Brien said the extra doctors meant more patients could be seen Monday to Friday and the new online appointment service would make bookings faster and easier via the web or a free phone app.
Drs Kate Baker, Greg Ceccato and Khaled Gowaily have joined the team and bring a diverse range of skills to the practice.
Dr Baker is happy to return to the area where she has family after working at Shellharbour and Shoalhaven Hospitals.
She is interested in paediatrics, women’s health, perinatal care and holistic medicine.
With extensive experience as an orthopaedics registrar, Dr Ceccato’s interests lie in fractures, sports injuries and muscular skeletal medicine.
Last year he worked at Shoalhaven Hospital and will also be working at Milton-Ulladulla Hospital.
Dr Gowaily has recently moved to the area from Tamworth and is interested in paediatrics and skin procedures.
Mrs O’Brien said the clinic was using the Doc Appointments service which to enable patients to book appointments at any time either online through the website docappointments.com.au or using the free phone app.
“Patients will be able to see the available appointments, select the doctor they wish to see and choose their appointment time,” she said.
“Once a booking is made it is instantly updated onto the practice’s appointment book.
“It is easy, fast to use and there is no cost to patients.
“Appointments can be made or cancelled anytime – even after hours.”
Mrs O’Brien said the centre’s receptionists would be able to assist patients with any questions regarding the new service.
