As an amazing array of musicians from Australia and overseas played on Friday night and throughout Saturday, hundreds of festival attendees turned the gumboot stomp into a latest local dance craze.
With much of the showground covered by water or mud that was ankle deep of more, gumboots became the best way to get around as people moved from the giant tent covering the stage and audience, to areas selling Mexican and Indian, pies and pizzas, gourmet burgers and barbecue basics, or the ever-popular Kidgeeridge Bar.
At the same time the event raised a huge amount for the local community, with festival organiser Graham White handing out cheques totalling close to $30,000 to local charities on Saturday morning.
