A group of 14 people walked the village on Clean Up Australia day to make it free of litter and dumped items.
Convener Rod Sydenham described the clean up as “successful”.
“Volunteer numbers were down this year so 354 kilograms was an awesome effort,” he said.
“This year, the amount of general rubbish and bottles was scarce, which was great but there was some large items; like a fridge, push bikes, lawn mower, a barbecue and other items dumped in the bush.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped on the day, and Lake Conjola Fishing Club, Lake Conjola Entrance Tourist Park, and Shoalhaven City Council for their support.”
