Police continue to investigate the alleged robbery where a male staff member was punched in the face.
Police said the alleged incident happened just before 6am where two armed men entered the bakery on the southern side of the Princes Highway and demanded money.
As one of the male staff members accessed the safe it is alleged he was struck in the back of the head and then punched in the face by one of the robbers.
He suffered facial injuries and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
Police said CCTV footage from around the area showed the two men leaving the bakery, one on a pushbike and the other on foot, heading towards the Ulladulla Harbour area.
Police continue to investigating any links between the robbery and a light coloured sedan that was seen leaving the area at speed shortly after the incident.
The two alleged offenders, believed to be in their 20s, were both around 175 to 180 centimetres tall.
Both had their faces covered during the incident but CCTV showed one wearing a khaki green colour hooded jacket and the other a white hooded jumper. One appeared to be wearing tracksuit pants.
As well as making off with a sum of cash the offenders also took a drought relief fundraising tin, which contained donations, during the robbery.
Police have asked anyone who might have been in the area at the time, who might have witnessed the robbery or have any information regarding the incident to come forward.
