The 45ha fire broke out at about 2pm on Tuesday, December 17.
The spokesperson confirmed investigations into the cause of the fire were being undertaken.
The RFS said attempts to contain the fire had so far been successful.
"We've done retardant drops, and we've had a bulldozer working through the night on containment lines," the spokesperson said.
"Crews are out there again today [December 18]."
Police were unable to confirm whether the fire was suspicious. A spokesperson said they would not be able to make a determination about the cause of the fire until they were able to get in to the fire ground.
