Members recently got the all-clear to return to the virtually new shed following a few frustrating weeks of COVID-19 lockdown.
Shed president, Tim Jamison, said getting back on the tools was great, but added the shed served another important role.
"They (the men) are happy to be back and enjoy the camaraderie part of it," he said.
They do have to follow some COVID-19 restrictions at the near brand new shed at 88A Camden Street, Ulladulla.
Ten people at a time work in the shed, while 10 people work outside in the garden.
People also have their temperatures taken as parts of the requirements.
Mr Jamison said as the restrictions ease, they will allow more people to make use of the facility.
He added because word had got around about their great shed they had picked up some new members.
The shed now has a membership of around 85 people which no doubt continue to grow.
Meanwhile, the Milton Ulladulla Men's Shed and others around the area have opened just in time for the recent Men's Health Week (June 15 -21).
"As we begin to return to our shed life in Australia, we're taking this Men's Health Week as an opportunity to simply acknowledge and celebrate the health benefits - both physical and mental - of the sheer act of visiting the shed," Australian Men's Shed Association Executive Officer, David Helmers said.
"Around the world men - particularly older men - are finding themselves much healthier and happier through involvement in Men's Sheds."
Men's Sheds make a positive contribution to the Australian community through the prevention of social isolation, the promotion of positive health and wellbeing and the opportunity for men to participate in their local community, standing shoulder to shoulder.
"After a number of difficult months of social isolation, many men are returning to Men's Sheds and celebrating," Mr Helmers said.
