The announcement comes as several recreational clubs around the Ulladulla region restrict entry into their facilities following the outbreak in a Batemans Bay Soldiers Club.
Residents in Milton, Ulladulla and surrounding areas are urged to visit the Ulladulla Respiratory Clinic for free testing if you have symptoms or have visited one of the venues attended by confirmed cases, as listed on the Latest COVID-19 case locations in NSW.
This list is available on the NSW Government's website and updated regularly.
The Ulladulla Respiratory Clinic is open from 8am to 7pm and is located at 114 Princes Highway Ulladulla, in the carpark behind Anytime Fitness.
Access is via the carpark from South Street and parking is available on site. Please note this is not a drive-through Clinic.
Appointments are essential and can be made via HotDoc Ulladulla Respiratory Clinic or by phoning 4455 5422.
It is essential that people who attended the Batemans Bay Soldier's Club on 13, 15, 16 and 17 July are immediately tested for COVID-19 and self-isolate for 14 days.
People are required to stay in isolation for a full 14 days even if their test is negative.
Anyone who develops COVID-19 symptoms or whose symptoms change should also be retested, even if they have had a negative result previously.
Those who attended the venue on July 14, or anyone else who has been in the Batemans Bay area in the past week, should be alert for symptoms and be tested immediately if symptoms develop.
Milton Ulladulla Hospital will continue to carry out testing, however the community are urged to visit an alternative site, such as the Ulladulla Respiratory Clinic, if there is heavy demand at the hospital.
Please phone Milton Ulladulla Hospital on 4454 9100 before visiting for testing.
There are a number of other testing facilities within the Local Health District, including the free community COVID-19 Assessment Clinics located at Wollongong, Shellharbour and Shoalhaven Hospitals.
Visit the LHD's website for more information: https://www.islhd.health.nsw.gov.au/covid-19-assessment-clinics. NSW has more COVID-19 testing clinics than any other State or Territory and people are urged to visit an alternative site if there is heavy demand at one location.
A full list of COVID-19 testing clinics in NSW is available on the NSW Health website. People can also visit their GP for testing.
Meanwhile, the Milton Ulladulla Bowling Club and Mollymook Golf Club will restrict entry to their facilities to local residents only - those who live locally in postcodes 2538 and 2539
It's a move to protect both staff and patrons from coming into contact with COVID-19.
The ruling at the golf club applies to the facility and the actual course
Other safety requirements like hand sanitising are still required.
