A GoFundMe campaign for Jason was established soon after the shocking diagnosis came.
The trio of walkers hope people will support them and Jason by making donations to the GoFundMe campaign.

Their epic walk started on Wednesday, February 4 at 4am from Nowra and they headed to Nerriga.
"We walked 63 kilometres over 15 hours on Wednesday and started again this morning [Thursday] at 5am. We are sore but still all good," one of the walkers said.
On Thursday they will be walking to Braidwood and by Friday afternoon they hope to be in Canberra.
Kiama resident Chris McMillan launched the GoFundMe campaign for his friend.
"Jason has been a tireless worker and pillar of his community; it is time to give back to him and his family," Mr McMillan said.
