Coffee in hand, the crowds gathered near the Mollymook Surf Club to watch as the brave swimmers took to the course, including the 500 metres, the 2.2 kilometre and dash for cash, followed by a presentation at 12pm.
Ulladulla local and local lifesaver Archie Skinner came first in the 2.2km event, while the first female across the line was Estella Campbell, another Mollymook lifesaver.
Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club captain Adam Woodward thanked organiser Lewis Betts and his team, and all entrants and spectators who helped raise funds an important cause.
He said 170 swimmers registered, with 150 in the main swim and 20m in the 500m dash for cash.
An afternoon full of entertainment followed from local bands Mitch and Met, Tall Shaun and the Resolution Blues and West Winds helped raise funds.
A Welcome to Country ceremony was held by Phil Butler and event t-shirts, designed by LiTI Studio's Maddy John, we on sale to boost proceeds.
The event started in April 2003, and with the exception of 2020, has been enjoyed by the local community every year.
