Due to the bridge renovations, this year's walk will began at Thurgate Oval Bomaderry and continued along Beinda St to the Bomaderry Homes, 59 Beinda Street Bomaderry.
After the walk, the event commenced with Uncle Willy Dixon giving a Welcome to Country, followed by Aunty Christine Blakely who reminded the crowd to enjoy themselves, celebrate culture and remember the Stolen Generation children of the Bomaderry Homes.
The rest of the afternoon was filled with sunshine, dancing and celebrating culture.
Held on May 26, National Sorry Day marks the day that the landmark 'Bringing them Home' report was tabled in federal parliament in 1997.
