"People have been so nice," she said about the support she had received from near and far.
She was given formal notice of termination on January 15 2024 and the eviction date is now June 30, 2024.
Now people are circling Lexie and they want to help her keep cabins going.
State Member for the South Coast, Liza Butler, has been one of Lexie's strongest supporters.
Ms Butler suggested they establish an e-petition which is now available online for people to sign
The petition calls on the "Government to rectify the situation by halting the proposed eviction and demolition, and insisting that a new long-term [25+ years] transferable lease be granted to the current lessee to enable the ongoing operation of Don Hearn's Cabins".
Go here to sign the e-petition.
Lexie said she appreciated the State Member being "actively involved in the save the cabins campaign.
Another thing that pleased Lexie was when she found out that people under 18 can sign the e-petition.
The cabin manager said all people needed, even if they were under 18, was an email address.
Once again Lexie is heartened by the support.
"I am not confident but optimistic," she said about the challenge she is facing.
Lexie, to show her optimism, started to take bookings for this year's Christmas season - despite the June 30 2024 eviction date.
Members of the Hearn family dropped in to see Lexie to express their support in person.
The battle continues ........
