With Ann as umpire and Annette Crabtree as controlling body, these games resulted in Lyn Youren defeating Liz Hume, Nola West-Newman defeating Mary Sheehy and Kerry Machon defeating Carolyn Perry.
Lucky rink winners were Nola West-Newman and marker Gwen Wood.
Verlie Clague won the Ted’s Butchery Milton meat voucher.

ABOUT a week ago Barry Pannowitz came out of intensive care and is now on the road to recovery.
Last Sunday bowls coordinator Barry Webb celebrated joining that elite 80s club with a big loud party downstairs.
The final of the major/minor pairs between Ron Wall and Chris Machon and Ron Wynter and Alan Wicken was played on the Tuesday, September 9 but unfortunately slipped under your scribe's radar.
The cards show a close game with the Wynter team taking the first set 12-10 and the Wall team the second 9-7.
Ron and Chris had to battle on for the three ends of the tie-break to claim the championship.
The first round of the minor singles championship was played last Saturday.
Mike Ricketts defeated Graham Smith 31-8, similarly Brian Church had a 31-12 win over John Stoneman.
Green keeper Tom Wilson once again proved he knows as much about bowling as he does about his greens with a 32-10 win against Bob Brooks.
Lucky rink winners were Brian Church and his marker.
Social triples was played on Wednesday, September 17.
Club president Tony Hutchins was welcomed back after kissing the Blarney Stone, which no doubt will further enhance his oratory skills.

The $200 medley pairs was played on Friday, September 19.
Many visitors were welcomed from Thirroul, Lake Conjola and about six from Milton-Ulladulla.
Nick King and Brad Patterson from Milton-Ulladulla had a high score of 14 on the randomly chosen five ends and took out the $200 prize money, sharing with their opponents Ron Wynter and Trish Moy.
The $15 KENO voucher was claimed by Tonys Clarke and Field.
Today the men's club AGM starts at 10sm followed by a barbecue and the nominated triples jackpot.
The club AGM will be heldo on Saturday at 9am.

THIRTY-ONE Roadrunners enjoyed a game of social bowls last Sunday.
Five games of triples were played with the following results: Mike Dundas, Brian Lambert and Geoff Travis 19 defeated Lyn Dundas, Doug Broad and Trish Moy 16. Jason King, Jeanie Thompson and Harry Sheehy 28 were too good for Col Manning, Pat Connors and Liz Hume 6. Barb Davis, Peter Sneddon and Tony Field 24 held off a fast finishing John Suthern, Robin Oke and Lee Dent 20. Marg Suthern/Sue Dent, June Manning and Tony Clarke 21 overcame Doug Hume, Wayne Manning and Sid Brand 15. Alan Hayman, Geoff Watson and Paul Burke 19 outlasted Leon Lill, Roy Booth and Bob Brooks 18.
The Roadrunners would like to congratulate Paul Burke, Geoff Watson, Roy Booth and Geoff Travis on their efforts in the 2014 rookies competition at St Georges Basin over the past few weeks.
Paul and Geoff Watson are off to the zone finals next week, good luck guys.
The Dirtbuster chickens for the winning rink went to Marg Suthern and Sue Dent, June Manning and Tony Clarke, while the losing rink of Col Manning, Pat Connors and Liz Hume got half their green fees back.

This is an annual event, this year between the Roadrunners, the club directors and staff, the men’s club and the ladies’ club.
Festivities start at 8.30am with a breakfast, followed by a game of bowls at 9am and finished off with a sumptuous lunch all for only $10.
Get your names in as soon as possible to aid with catering.
