Two weeks ago trees began to be cleared on stage six of the Highview Drive development at Dolphin Point.
Stage six is at the end of Vista Drive and runs along the back of properties on Highview Drive.
Despite the knowledge that those trees would one day be cleared, the shock of seeing so many trees felled for some neighbours was distressing.
A hazard reduction burn in the National Park adjoining the development last Wednesday added further stress to the situation.
Some Dolphin Point residents believed there was a lack of communication between stakeholders as animals and birds that scattered from the clearing, six days earlier, would have been affected by the reduction burn.
Dolphin Point neighbours began putting together a list of questions they believed residents, who live near future developments, would ask in the future.
Topics include how to handle an influx of children while the only high school is at capacity, how are main arterial roads going cope with increased traffic especially during holiday periods, will health services handle population growth, Crown Land use and its sale for development, crime, public transport and jobs.
The Ulladulla and Districts Community Forum will be held in the main auditorium of the Ulladulla Civic Centre on Monday at 6pm.
Some time has been set aside in general business for residents of Dolphin Point to discuss development activity in the area.
