On Tuesday December 4, President Cheryl Davies presented Bonnie Roberts with The Club Encouragement Award donated by Roz and Col Jamieson to commence the day. We enjoyed a great time on the green. The rink winners for the games were actually the runners-up … Sue Jamieson, Bonnie Roberts, Lyn Rippon and the team runners-up, Cherilyn Brace, Jo Cattley and Kath Fraser. Raffle winners were birthday girl Frances Mazurek, Sandra Crimmins and Bonnie Roberts.
Thursday December 6 :Once again there was a good turnout of players for a day on the green. Rink winners for the day were Sandra Crimmins and Marcia Leahy with the runner-up rink being Carmen Colusso, Elwyn Clark and Robyn Taylor. Raffle winners were Carmen Colusso, Eve Jones and Pam Geering.
With the end of year festivities taking over this coming week there are quite a few notices to post for your information. The first of the club and District Championships are being run soon after we return from our Christmas break. For this reason the closing dates may be when some of us are away or still caught up with family.
The entries for our Club Major Singles is on the board, the first round to be played on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 and District Pairs (2x2x2x2) and District Senior Pairs (3 bowls) are to be played on February 11, 2019, entries and entry fee must be in by January 15, 2019.
If you wish to enter while we are on break please fill in your name on the board and give the $10 entry fee to the main desk in a envelope with your name, event and date. Match Committee (Lyn Rippon & Kath Fraser) will pick them up.
Bowls resumes on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. We intend to have Pennant Practice as much as possible every Tuesday so please make the effort to come along especially if you have been selected to play in the trial teams.

Ladies winner – Lorraine Burt, Men’s winner – John Swanson, Lucky door prize – Pauline Oakes, Unluckiest player – Pauline Oakes, Series winners – Lorraine Burt/Elvin Foley.
Golf
Mollymook Beachside Veterans
On Wednesday 5th December, thirty-three Beachside Veteran golfers played a Nine Hole Stableford. Winning the day’s play was Ken Venables with a score of 22, with second place going to Gary Logan with a score of 21, in a count back from third place getter David Wardleworth.
Balls were given out for scores down to 18 on a count back, with Wildcards going Kevin Hodge and Rhett Senior. Nearest the Pins were awarded to Gary Logan on the 2nd ; Stan Izzard on the 6th, and Mark Hardwick on the 7th. Next Wednesday 12st December is the final competition game for 2018, and will be a Two Person Ambrose, enter with partner.

Shoalhaven Darts Association
Results of Grand Finals:
First Division: - Mohawks def Marlins 7 games to 4. This was a very close game like all Grand Finals should be. Both teams winning a triples each, Mohawks won two doubles, singles started with two singles each and Mohawks came back to win the last two. Pat Duke led his team with four finishes.
Duane Lichtendaul had a 129 peg and Darren Brudenell had the high score with an excellent180. For Marlins Peter Wood and Phil Reeves had three finishes each, with one of Phil’s being a 111 peg. Peter, Phil, Bradley Moulds and Matt Goozeff had the high score of 140.
Second Division: Misfits def Squaws 7 games to 3. This game started off well with both teams winning a triples each. Misfits winning two doubles, then powered home to win four out of five singles.
Ken Kelleher led his team with four finishes. Trevor Bloxsome had the high score of 140. For Squaws Kelly Hogan had four finishes and Lynda Economos had the high score of 138.
Congratulations to our Association Sixes Winners for 2018 and commiseration to our runners up.
