A child needs to firstly be taught in a supportive manner as to what positive behaviours are expected. Teachers at Budawang are experienced to understand that unless you teach what is positively expected, either academically or behaviourally, you should never assume a child will know. Budawang School is in the process of developing their Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) educational process.
The PBL framework will assist Budawang in improving the social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes of students. The process involves developing and using a common vision and language with students, setting clear behavioural expectations, collecting and using of data for decision-making and recognising positive behaviour instantly.
