The overjoyed woman admitted she was still reeling from the discovery.
"Gosh, I am completely overwhelmed," she laughed.
"I had just popped in for some lunch today and checked my Keno ticket from yesterday. I had absolutely no idea I'd won $60,000. How incredible is that?
"It was honestly a complete shock. I just went speechless. It's not something you actually expect to happen to you.
"We had a great lunch celebrating. It put us all in a good mood."
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the thrilled winner admitted she was struggling to decide.
"Honestly, it's hard to comprehend what to do with the prize," she said.
It's just a complete shock. I might go on a holiday in the new year, but otherwise I will try and save most of it."
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Greenwell Point Hotel.
Greenwell Point Hotel duty manager Tracy Stih said the venue couldn't be happier for their winner.
"It's just amazing. The winner truly deserves it, so we couldn't be happier for her," she said.
"Everyone at the venue was so excited when we saw there was a major win.
"We've had a few big wins here in the past, but this would certainly be one of the biggest."
