Played at Bill Andriske Oval on Saturday, the men's game started at a frantic pace, with the Indigenous side, who won the inaugural match last season, scoring three tries in the first 14 minutes.
The first came through a barging run from Chaise Sines, before Dallas Harrison scored in the corner and Jake Gould won a long-range foot race to a Zac Balttner kick from a scrum within their own half.
But the All Stars finally clicked into gear in the back end of the first half, as Matt Murray scored their first in the 29th minute.
The next nine minutes would belong to Gary Breakspear's men, as both Jayden Harris and Kye Deane crossed to give the All Stars a 18-14 lead at the break.
The enthusiasm of Dylan Farrell's Indigenous side cost them in the second half, as both Zac Blattner and George Campbell were given 10 minutes in the bin.
In the wet conditions, tries became hard to come by, with the All Stars having two tries through Jayden Harris and Alec Brookes denied.
But they wouldn't be denied a third time when Toby Gumley-Quine showed off his pace to put Alec Brookes into space, to stretch the lead to 24-14.
Just when it appeared like the All Stars were going to cruise to victory, a 70-metre intercept try by Dylan Riggs reduced the margin to just four points, to set up a grandstand finish.
In the final moments, both teams had numerous chances to win the match but the All Stars hung on to record a memorable 24-20 victory.
In the win, Callum Franchi, Matt Murray, Toby Gumley-Quine and Jayden Harris led the way while Jake Gould, Chaise Sines, Dallas Harrison and Zac Blattner were standouts for the Indigenous side.
In the women's game, the All Stars won the match 8-4, thanks an Alivia Brown try at the death - after the match was deadlocked nil-all at half-time.
