In an error-riddle start at the Bomaderry Sporting Complex, the Jets took the lead in the ninth minute when a sharp pass by Paul Roberts put a rampaging Matt Scott into a yawning gap to score.
Winger Braydon Walsh converted it and was 6-nil.
The hosts then had to wait until the 23rd minute to extend their lead, when they attack their favoured right side.
Five-eighth Dylan Farrell dummied his way through the line before putting centre Ryan James over to score untouched.
Walsh again converted and the lead was 12.
But eight minutes later, the Magpies opened their accounts, when young prop Ollie Parrish barged over for a well-deserved four-pointer.
Hooker Kealen Blatter converted from right in front and it was 12-6.
Just before the break, the Jets scored their third - with Jason Gillard being the beneficiary of a perfectly worked set-play off a scrum, which made it 16-6 at the break.
Just like the first half, Scott was the first to score in the second 40, but this time it took less than a minute, as an overlap to the left saw the prop stroll over.
The Jets winger was the next to get his name on the scoresheet, as quick hands from the hosts created a two-on-one on the right edge.
Walsh again converted it and was 28-6.
In the 54th minute, off a handy pass by Blattner, Jack Parrish charged over for the Magpies' second.
The hooker converted and it was 28-12.
But a shift backline play involving Farrell and Roberts put centre Dwyane Connors into space before the latter cut back against the grain to score.
With Walsh in the sin-bin for dissent, Farrell took over the kicking duties and easily slotted the conversion for 34-12.
The match was sealed in the 72nd minute when back-rower Tyson Simpson put Zac Kershaw into space, before the prop shrugged off an attempted tackle by Berry fullback Caleb Robinson, to score his second try in as many weeks.
Walsh's kick made it 40-12, which is how it remained until full-time.
In the win, which cemented the Jets fifth place on the ladder, Roberts, Simpson, Gillard and Kershaw were standouts, while Ollie Parrish, Robinson, Fletcher Winning and Jack Cross did all they could for the visitors.
Jayson Smith's side finishes the season in ninth with a 0-8 record while the Jets will play the Knights in Sunday's elimination final at the Kiama Showground, kicking off at 3.30pm.
