Beau is in the third and final year of his apprenticeship and is baking at Baker's Delight in Ulladulla.
Beau's boss, Peter Jerik was delighted to support Beau's application and described him as 'a great kid'.
Peter praised Beau for his enthusiasm, dedication, reliability and willingness to learn and have a go.
Beau is a popular and well respected member of the Ulladulla Baker's Delight team and is a worthy recipient of the Apprentice of the Year Award.
Beau was chuffed to receive the Award and $1000 from the Rotary Club of Milton Ulladulla, as well as a Saunders Mensland gift certificate.
In other Rotary news Maddy Nash 2020 Miss Milton Showgirl and 2020 Blessing of the Fleet Princess Maddi Healy spoke one of the group's recent meeting
Maddy spoke on the idea behind the Showgirl competition and how it is judged, which is to encourage young women to be a Female Ambassador for the local area.
She then spoke on the levels of competition to be named the Land Sydney Royal Showgirl. Maddy then informed members of her activities for the past year including joining the TAG Youth Group, a group for the ASC Group 5 which Milton Show is part of.
Maddi thanked the Rotary Club of Milton-Ulladulla for giving her the opportunity to enter the Blessing of the Fleet Ball and her sponsor Milton Ulladulla Junior Leagues Club for sponsoring her in the Ball.
Maddi then spoke on how they had nearly finished her float which was going to be based on the 2020 Olympics in Japan before the Parade was cancelled.
