The 'Say Neigh Day' aims to raise awareness and support of the rehabilitation of horses, giving them a new purpose to become human healers.
Vanessa Hartley and her team at Bella Cavallo retrain horses to find a new purpose in healing humans through equine-assisted learning and therapy, therapeutic riding and trail riding companions.
The rescue horses become companions and therapeutic vehicles for supporting and improving wellbeing in people with physical disabilities, mental health problems, and other disorders such as autism spectrum, down syndrome and survivors of PTSD and other forms of trauma.
'Say Neigh Day' will greatly add to the creation of a community, and an economic and health system aimed at improving the lives and livelihoods of the wider Shoalhaven community.
'Say Neigh Day' will be held on Saturday, September 18 from 9am - to 2 pm at Waymount Farm 23 West Cambewarra Road North Nowra.
The cost is $30 which includes lunch and go here to book.
